The high school volleyball season ended with more losses than wins for the Greene County Rams. There were only three seniors in Eliza Carlson, Lily Muir, and Brianna Osterson, and all three were starters.

The rest of the squad returns for head coach Chris Heisterkamp, and some younger players will be trying to break into the varsity lineup as well. The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio what she’d like the players to do to improve themselves as volleyball players. “I’d like to see them play in the offseason. I think most of the girls will be doing just that, maybe not all on the same club, but they’ll keep playing volleyball, which is so important. They need to get in the weight room with Coach Duncan and work hard there, too. Next summer we’ll have open gyms, so we’ll want to see them there as well.”

Brianna Habben was the lone junior on the varsity this season, and she and several sophomores got a lot of playing time.
