9:23am: Grand Junction Fire, Greene County Ambulance, and a deputy responded to a house that was struck by lightning in the 1300 block of W Avenue.
9:44am: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 800 block of N Avenue.
10:48am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 800 block of 220th Street.
10:50am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 700 block of Jay Street, Churdan.
11:02am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at Bell Street and Fitzpatrick Street in Churdan.
11:56am: A deputy assisted the Fort Dodge Police Department with a forgery complaint that occurred at Casey’s in Grand Junction.
4:05pm: A deputy investigated a possible violation of a no contact order in the 200 block of South 19th Street, Grand Junction.
7:34pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 100 block of 190th Street. Randall Venteicher 51 of Scranton was arrested for domestic abuse assault 3rd or subsequent offense. Tara Sheeder 48 was also arrested for domestic abuse assault 1st offense.
10:10pm: Randall Venteicher 51 of Scranton was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault 3rd or subsequent offense.
Friday, October 23rd
12:10am: Tara Sheeder 48 of Woodward was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault 1st offense.
9:45am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 2200 block of 185th Street.
10:05am: Peyton Paddock 23 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for assault.
11:51am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of State Street, Scranton.
2:41pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near W Avenue.
7:57pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near Hillcrest Avenue.
Saturday, October 24th
10:01am: A deputy was initiated a traffic stop on 230th Street and X Avenue. The vehicle fled from the deputy reaching speeds of around 90 mph. The deputy located the vehicle on a closed gravel road on 230 th Street between C Avenue and D Avenue in Boone County. They located the driver Alex Treft 29 of Grand Junction. Alex was arrested for eluding, 25 mph over the speed limit.
1:24pm: Alex Treft 29 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for eluding 25 mph over the speed limit.
2:47pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on S Avenue near 170th Street.
5:24pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 700 block of 215th Street.
7:11pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on 220th Street near J Avenue.
7:35pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 210th Street and 220th Street. Alan Friedman 55 of Templeton struck a deer with a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado causing an estimated 3,000 dollars damage.
8:50pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 100 block of East Percival Street, Rippey.
Sunday, October 25th
9:37am: A deputy investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 1600 block of L Avenue. The vehicle was later located in the 300 block of East Park Street in Jefferson.
11:48am: A deputy investigated a mail scam in the 1500 block of H Avenue.
1:17pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 1600 block of L Avenue.
6:28pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on E Avenue near the overpass in Scranton. Kimberly Murphy 25 of Scranton was North bound on E Avenue and lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered bridge rolling several times down the hill. Kimberly was operating a 2001 Ford Explorer that was totaled in the accident. Kimberly was cited for no valid driver’s license. Kimberley was uninjured in the accident.
11:12pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a disturbance at the Wild Rose Casino.
Monday, October 26th
1:39pm: A deputy and Grand Junction Fire responded to a small fire in a garage in the 300 block of 8th Street, Grand Junction. There was minor damage to the garage and the fire started from construction work.
3:00pm: A deputy assisted the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check in the 700 block of North Cedar Street, Jefferson.
4:41pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 500 block of South Wise Street, Paton.
7:48pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1700 block of J Avenue.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
