Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tiger Cross Country was able to get their boys team to state this last week as well as girls runner Geneva Timmerman to the state race in Fort Dodge. All of these runners competed in less than ideal conditions during the race, dealing with overcast conditions, temps that were cool, and some wind in the race as well.

They definitely will be keeping an eye on the weather as they continue to get prepared for the race on Friday, and for right now look like they’ll have sunny weather with temps in the low to mid 40s by race time. Wind could be a factor but hopefully not as much as their district race.

No matter the conditions, obviously the Tiger runners will be unfazed no matter what the elements bring them for the final race of the season. The Tigers will be running in the class 3A race this Friday afternoon, as they hope to take away some team and individual hardware.
