Guthrie County Hospital and Clinics is hosting their annual DAISY and SUNSHINE award ceremony today, and they are partnering with Raccoon Valley Radio to livestream the event to the public.

This is GCH’s fourth annual DAISY Award ceremony, which is given to an extraordinary nurse. There are 10 nominees this year for the award. This is the second year for the SUNSHINE Award, which is an exclusive award to GCH that is given to a remarkable Certified Nursing Assistant. Other service awards will be presented, and the ceremony is expected to last between 45 minutes and an hour. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this event is not open to the public, so Raccoon Valley Radio will be livestreaming the ceremony at 3 p.m. on our Facebook page.
