Dallas and Guthrie counties each reported one new COVID-19 related death Wednesday.

According to the Guthrie and Adair County Dashboard, Guthrie County reported one new death Wednesday increasing their total to 14. Overall, Guthrie County has 373 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 233 recoveries. Guthrie County has a 12.1%,14-day positivity average. Adair County has one new case since Tuesday, increasing their total to 144 with 67 recoveries and one death. Adair County has a 12.3% 14-day positivity rate.

According to the State Dashboard Tuesday, Dallas County also added one new death, increasing their total to 44. Overall, there are 3,329 confirmed cases, ninth-most in the State. There have been 2,720 recoveries. Dallas County has an 8% 14-day positivity rate. According to Greene County Public Health Tuesday, they reported seven new cases since Sunday, increasing their total to 180. They’re also reporting 98 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 6.6% 14-day positive average.

With Halloween around the corner, Dallas County Public Health Information Officer Ann Cochran pleads to limit celebrations, “I really want to emphasize this is not the year to have a big blowout party. A lot of adults really enjoy Halloween parties. This is not a great year to do that. Keep it small, just your family, just the people you’re with anyway. Please don’t have a party with 50 people because it’s just not the greatest time.”

Statewide, there are a total of 110,018 cases, with 84,683 recoveries and 1,556 deaths. Of the 913,617 people that have been tested, 801,951 were negative, a 12% positivity rate.
