The burn ban issued in Dallas County last week has officially been lifted.

On Friday, the State Fire Marshal’s Office approved a request from Dallas County Emergency Management Coordinator AJ Seely to prohibit open burning in the County. As of 3 p.m., Monday the State Fire Marshal’s Office announced that the ban has been lifted. Open burning is Perry is allowed from 10 a.m. until sunset from November 2nd-22nd.
