Several local organizations have teamed up to donate food throughout the Dallas County area.

Tyson Foods, Dallas County Public Health, and Perfect Pact came together to distribute 2,500 food boxes to employees at the Tyson Foods plant in Perry. The organizations partnered with the U.S Department of Agriculture and their Farmers to Families Food Box Program, which has delivered more than 100 million boxes of food throughout the country since the COVID-19 pandemic began earlier this year. Several area nonprofits also received donations including the Dallas County Food GRID, New Opportunities, Opportunity on Deck, ISU Extension, Crisis Intervention, Advocacy Center, and the cities of Redfield, Minburn, Linden, Dexter, Dallas Center, Woodward, and Van Meter.
