Commuters traveling to the metro area are informed that the flyover bridge spanning Interstates 35 and 80 is officially open.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, the high-level overpass will make it easier to access I-35 and I-80 for commuters using Highway 141. Construction began on the $65 million project in 2018.
