Greene County High School Athletics Hall of Fame nominations are open the rest of this month. Activities Director Todd Gordon created the HOF last year and the inaugural class included the 1994 Jefferson-Scranton Class 2A Girls’ State Champion Track & Field Team, Coach Bill Kibby, and individual athletes, Kristi Kinne-Hayes, Trisha Waugh-Pipkins, and Brent Mac Lagan.
Criteria includes being a graduate of Jefferson, Jefferson-Scranton, Greene County, East Greene, Rippey, Grand Junction, Dana, or Scranton high schools, a first team All-State selection, or State Champion in a sanctioned sport by a recognized agency/organization, and or a collegiate athlete meeting certain standards.
