Friday, October 9th

12:09am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Mulberry Streets resulted in Michelle Christian of Grand Junction being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”

7:36pm: Ethan Woodruff advised his vehicle had a flat tire near 900 Hwy. 30 East. He advised the vehicle would be removed the next morning.

9:07pm: Dispatch received a 911 Hang Up Call from the area of the 100 Block of Ram Drive. The officer did not find anyone in the area needing assistance.

10:52pm: Danny Newton advised his vehicle had broken down in the bank parking lot at 116 West State Street. He advised the vehicle would be removed in the morning.

Saturday, October 10th

1:09am: A caller advised of Barking Dogs in the 300 Block of North High Street. The officer located the animal inside a residence. The animal was barking, but no one was home at the residence. The officer will follow up later with the owner.

2:35am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 508 North Elm Street. An employee had accidentally tripped the alarm while entering the business.

10:54am: An officer investigated a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident at the intersection of West Harrison and South Pinet Streets. A 2016 Hyundai Elantra, owned by Street Smarts, LLC. and operated by Meadow Losee of Paton, was northbound on South Pinet Street. As the vehicle entered the intersection of Harrison and Pinet, the driver did not yield to a vehicle travelling westbound on Harrison Street. Losee struck a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by Gary Schiltz and operated by Jennifer Schiltz of Jefferson. The Schiltz vehicle had a reported $5000.00 in damages, while the Street Smarts vehicle had a reported $6000.00 in damages. Losee was cited for, “Fail to Yield to the Vehicle on the Right.”

11:06am: Steve Brown reported a flag and pole at 408 West Lincoln Way Street, which does not belong to him. The flag had been reported missing a few days prior and the officer advised the owner he could retrieve the flag at the LEC.

2:54pm: An officer responded to a Fire Alarm Activation at the GC Middle School, located at 101 Ram Drive. No fire was present. The alarm was tripped by dust from building construction.

2:54pm: Jeff Niles reported debris on the roadway on 220th Street, near the Redwood Motel. The officer removed the debris from the roadway.

9:08pm: Kyle Thomas requested a Welfare Check on his neighbor at 104 East Monroe Street. He was unable to get the subject to answer the door, but believed he was home. As the officer was entering the residence, the owner called the LEC to advise he was out of town.

Sunday, October 11th

7:56pm: Tim Pound reported three teens in dark clothing on skateboards in the 800 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. Pound advised they were difficult to see in the dark. The officer was unable to locate them.

8:39pm: A caller reported Suspicious Activity in the 500 Block of West State Street. Extra Patrol has been given to the area.

9:50pm: Dalton Exline reported he had picked up a male that was walking in the 1700 Block of North Elm Street and gave him a ride to Head Park. When they arrived at the park, Exline said the male punched him in the face and fled on foot. The officer was not able to locate anyone in the area and is investigating the reported event.

11:51pm: An officer located and secured an Open Door at 600 East Lincoln Way Street.

Monday, October 12th

3:51am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical call in the 100 Block of Lincoln Place.

11:28am: Marlene Anderson reported the Theft of Prescription Medication. She reported the meds were in her purse and she had been at several locations in the past few days and did not know when and where the theft had occurred.

12:54pm: Tiffany Johnson reported a Lost/Stolen Purse. The purse contained cash and cards. The officer is assisting in the search.

12:54pm: Austin Owens reported Face Book Harassment.

6:53pm: The Greene County High School requested owner information on a vehicle parked in a reserved spot at 1901 North Grimmell Road. The officer provided the owner information so the school could contact the student to move the vehicle.

8:36pm: A caller advised of a vehicle that may be leaving 777 Wild Rose Lane was driven by a possible Intoxicated Driver. The vehicle was not located by the officer.

8:27pm: A Traffic Stop at 237th and Deer Run resulted in Immanuel Jubell of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

Tuesday, October 13th

5:04am: Michael Linhart reported Unauthorized activity on his credit card. The officer learned the event happened in Scranton and forwarded the information to a deputy.

5:32am: Eric Eliserio reported a vehicle coming south into Jefferson on Hwy. 4 that had no taillights. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

9:40am: Peggy Cunningham reported receiving the “Grandchild Scam Call.” The caller advised her he was her grandson and needed money for legal trouble. Cunningham recognized the call as a scam and terminated the call.

3:44pm: Amber Williams reported a Stolen Motor Vehicle. The officer learned the event occurred in Humboldt and sent her to that agency to make her report.

4:42pm: A GC School bus driver reported a School Bus Violation. The violation occurred at Lincoln Way and Westwood Drive. A vehicle passed the bus after the stop sign was out and overhead lights were activated. A registration plate was provided in the report. The office er is investigating.

8:59pm: April Hopkins requested officers at 504 South Walnut Street for a Fight in Progress. The officer arrived and spoke to several parties involved in the event. The officer arrested Christopher Herbert Lawrence, 40 of Jefferson for, “Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon – Aggravated.”
