The Greene County volleyball team has played four times in the new high school gym, and they’ll host Southeast Valley (Gowrie) on Oct. 19 in the first round of Class 3A Region 2 action.

Activities Director Todd Gordon was asked how it’s been having a new facility. “It’s been a lot of fun to get it going. We know it’s not complete yet. Our sound system is not in yet. Our video board display is not functioning yet. Those are all coming in the next 2-3 weeks. I feel bad because I wanted it done for senior night especially, for volleyball, but it didn’t get done so we’ll just have to move on and do the best we can.”
