West Central Valley Wildcat football found out their playoff opponent on Saturday, as they will be taking on Underwood in the first round of the state playoffs on the road.
The Wildcats concluded their regular season last week with a loss at ACGC and finished with a 1-6 record, while Underwood is 6-1 on the year, with their closest win on the season being by 33 points. The Eagles have had a tremendous regular season, as the Wildcats know that they will be taking on a high scoring attack.
WCV during practice this week will have to be focused on numerous different things, including finding a way to slow down an offense that has been one of the best at the class 1A level all season long.
The winner of this game will play the winner of Colfax – Mingo or Woodward-Granger.
Kick time from Underwood will be at 7 o’clock on Friday night.
