Paton-Churdan hosted Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton in Rolling Valley Activities Conference volleyball in Churdan Tuesday night. Coach Tressa Rasmussen’s Rockets won  in three straight sets 25-18, 25-12, 25-14 to ieimmprove to 5-6 on the season. The coach reported the Rockets played the best the coach has seen them all season. “Serving was good, we were aggressive at the net, and I am super proud of their passing tonight!”

P-C was 71 of 78 serving with 10 ace serves. Hannah Bundt was 15 of 16 with five ace serves. Chloe Berns was 17 of 18 with two aces. Danielle Hoyle was 14 of 16 with two aces, and Karissa Stephenson went 15 of 16 with one ace. Hoyle had a whopping 22 kills in the three sets. Tessa Steimel had seven kills with six for Carmyn Paup, and three by Stephenson. Hoyle and Steimel each had one block. Four Rockets had double figures digs with 13 by Stephenson, 12 from Hoyle, 11 for Steimel, and 10 by Berns.

The Rockets are set to play Saturday at Anita in the CAM tournament.
