Greene County ran cross-country Tuesday in warm and sunny conditions at the Lake City Golf Course during the South Central Calhoun Titans’ Coed Invitational. Coach Jeff Lamoureux reported a timing issue in the boys’ race and team scores were not available. Not all the boys had places assigned. The girls were last among 13 teams with 301 points, and both Greene County teams were shorthanded. The girls were without Olivia Shannon and the boys ran without Luis Velazco.
Conner Allender led the Greene County girls. She ran the live kilometers (3.1 miles) in 25:04.98 and placed 31st. Makala Kafer was timed in 27:39, good for 55th place, followed by Autumn Stevens, 71st in 29:21, Lucy Dudley, 79th in 31:24, and Sadie Wilson, 80th in 31:26.
Coach Lamoureux reports Logan Woodruff led the Greene County boys with a sixth place finish in 18:55. Jayden Carstensen was 16th in 19:39, followed by Ethan Frederick in 19:54, Dakota Mobley 20:15, and Kolby Angell 21:54.
