All four counties within the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area have reported an increased amount of positive COVID-19 cases.
According to the state dashboard as of Friday, Dallas County added 51 new cases since Wednesday, increasing their total to 2,896. They also have 2,439 individuals that have recovered and 38 deaths. The county is at a 6.2% 14-day positive average. Greene County has 122 positive cases, 18 more than Wednesday. They’re also reporting 66 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 6.7% 14-day positive average.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Friday, Guthrie County has 13 new positive COVID-19 cases, increasing their total to 280 total positive 179 recoveries, with an 11% 14-day average positivity rate. Since Wednesday, Adair County has one new case, increasing their total to 76, with 48 recoveries and one death. Their positivity rate is at 5.7%.
Statewide, there are a total of 91,025 cases, with 70,513 recoveries and 1,372 deaths. Of the 812,138 people that have been tested, 719,576 were negative, an 11.2% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 96 hospitalized patients, 21 in Intensive Care Units, and 18 admitted in the last 24 hours.
