The Churdan City Park updates and improvements are complete, and the committee is thanking everyone who supported the project.

Organizer Libby Towers says over 50 families, individuals and businesses contributed to the financial support of the project, which included installing new playground equipment, along with new toddler swings and a merry-go-round. Towers also thanks those who helped assemble the new equipment. The park recently received recognition from the Wellmark Foundation for a $20,000 grant, along with a Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation grant of $45,000 toward the project.

Towers is hoping to host a celebration event for the new park equipment next spring.
