Guthrie County reported three new COVID-19 related deaths Wednesday bringing their total to 10.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Wednesday, Guthrie County has had five new COVID-19 deaths since last Friday. According to Guthrie County Public Health, there are 21 positive cases from Panora Specialty Care. Overall, the county has 267 total positive COVID-19 cases with 172 recoveries, with a 12.7% 14-day average positivity rate. Since Sunday, Adair County has five new cases, increasing their total to 75, with 48 recoveries and one death. Their positivity rate is at 6.6%.
According to the state dashboard as of Wednesday, Dallas County added 46 new cases since Sunday, increasing their total to 2,845. They also have 2,394 individuals that have recovered and 38 deaths. The county is at a 6.2% 14-day positive average. Greene County has 106 positive cases, five more than Sunday. They’re also reporting 60 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 4.7% 14-day positive average.
Statewide, there are a total of 88,829 cases, with 68,452 recoveries and 1,344 deaths. Of the 798,840 people that have been tested, 708,461 were negative, an 11.1% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 90 hospitalized patients, 20 in Intensive Care Units, and 10 admitted in the last 24 hours.
