10:37am: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near S Avenue.

2:28pm: A deputy and the Scranton Fire Department responded to a combine fire near C Avenue and 250th Street.

5:42pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of railroad crossing arms stuck down on 13th Street in Grand Junction.

7:39pm: The Sheriff investigated a theft in the 400 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

8:15pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 1700 block of Quaker Avenue.

11:27pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident in the 1800 block of 235th Street. Trista Murphy 26 of Grand Junction struck a deer with a 2013 Dodge Dart causing an estimated 2,500 dollars damage.

Thursday, October 1st

12:24am: Joshua Geigle 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

2:26am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all 

defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
