Several area experts will be holding a socially-distanced panel in Adel to discuss racial injustice.

The speakers will feature the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People president for Iowa and Nebraska Betty Andrews, Head of Des Moines’ Selma organization Justyn Lewis, and speaker and advocate for racial justice Heather Jones. The event is free and open to the public. The panel will run from 6-7:15 p.m. Tuesday outside at the Raccoon Valley Bank Stage in Adel. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and questions about the topic.
