The AC/GC football team’s upset quest came up short Friday night.

AC/GC made the trip to Van Meter Friday to face the #3 Bulldogs. Van Meter entered the matchup without losing a regular season game since the season opening contest in 2015, and they played like it.

AC/GC struggled on both offense and defense throughout the night. The highlight of the night for AC/GC was an 80-yard touchdown drive that kept Van Meter’s offense on the sideline for nearly nine minutes
