Greene County is approaching 100 positive COVID-19 cases.

According to the state dashboard, as of Thursday, Greene County has 99 positive cases, six more than Tuesday. They’re also reporting 52 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at a 6.4% 14-day positive average. Dallas County added 47 new cases since Tuesday, increasing their total to 2,745. They also have 2,182 individuals that have recovered and 38 deaths. Dallas County is at a 5.9% 14-day positive average. 

According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Thursday, Guthrie County reports an 11.3% 14-day positive average. Guthrie County remained at 231 positive cases, with 159 recoveries and five deaths. Adair County had 67 total positive cases, with 45 recoveries and one death. Adair County is reporting a 6.1% 14-day positive average.

Statewide, there are a total of 83,620 cases, with 61,518 recoveries and 1,303 deaths. Of the 760,092 people that have been tested, 674,927 were negative, an 11% positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 73 hospitalized patients, 19 in Intensive Care Units, and 14 admitted in the last 24 hours.
