COVID-19 data can now be broken down by zip code in Dallas County.
Dallas County Public Health recently received guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health that allows them to release numbers broken down by zip code to the public. The new dashboard shows how many cases have been confirmed in the last 14 days. This is to provide some insights into how many active cases there are within each community. The site also includes information on what symptoms to look out for, mitigation and sanitation recommendations, and various resources ranging from childcare availability to financial assistance for small businesses.
According to the Dallas County Data Dashboard, there are between one and five cases in Perry and 18 in Adel as of Monday. As a whole, Dallas County has 2,693 total positive cases, 2,090 recoveries, and 38 deaths.
