J.D. Scholten speaking in Cooper on Sunday

A reminder that the Democratic candidate for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District will be visiting several towns in Greene County today.

J.D. Scholten will be continuing his “Every Town Tour” campaign with stops at the Churdan City Park at 2pm, the Paton City Park at 3, the Rippey Library lawn at 5pm and will finish with a special “Drive-In” event in Jefferson at 7. Prior to the evening “Drive-In” event, attendees are asked to observe social distancing and are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. The “Drive-In” event will take place at the former middle school parking lot. Attendees must stay in their vehicles and Scholten will be talking on an FM radio frequency, so that everyone can practice proper social distancing. 

Volunteers will be wearing masks and placing vehicles in spaces at the parking lot starting at 6:30pm. All events are free and open to the public.
