ADM Tigers Cross Country had a home meet yesterday when they hosted the Tiger Invitational in Adel, and were able to get some great team performances with the girls able to come in first place as a team and the boys able to come in second.
The girls team had a great race, and were once again lead by sophomore Geneva Timmerman, who added another victory to her belt as she ran for a time of 19 minutes and 23 seconds. Freshman Grace Martens-Sinn was also able to crack the top five, finishing fourth with a time of 21 minutes and 34 seconds. Senior Hannah Welch and freshman Paige Mattes were also able to crack the top 20 for the Tigers.
On the boys side, Nate Mueller was able to continue his winning streak as he ran with a time of 16 minutes and 54 seconds cruising to a first place finish in front of his home fans. They also were able to get top ten performances from junior Cooper Greenslade who ran with a time of 17 minutes and 58 seconds and Quinton Kimrey who got a time of 18 minutes and 32 seconds.
After three races in the last eight days, the Tigers will have a break, with no races scheduled until October 1st in Perry.
