The AC/GC volleyball team is looking to avenge their lone conference loss from last season.

In 2019, the Chargers went 9-1 against WCAC teams, that lone loss coming from Des Moines Christian. AC/GC will have an opportunity to avenge that loss tonight when they make the trip to Urbandale to take on the Lions. The matchup features two teams ranked #15 by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union with AC/GC ranked 15th in Class 2A and Des Moines Christian ranked 15th in Class 3A. The Chargers come in hot 11-1 overall and winning their last nine matches, and only losing one set during that span. The Lions enter dropping their last two matches and a 13-7 record overall. The varsity match is set to start at 7 p.m. tonight at Des Moines Christian.
