One person was injured in a four-vehicle wreck in Adel Saturday.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Kevin Horrigan of Stuart was driving southbound on N Avenue near 268th Lane when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Colleen Mains of Clive. After the impact, Horrigan’s vehicle continued towards a parking lot where it hit two parked cars, one owned by Rhonda Williams-Larsen of Johnston and the other by Marc Andresen of Ankeny. A passenger in Horrigan’s vehicle was taken by Dallas County EMS ambulance to Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines. Damage to Main’s vehicle estimated at $7,000, Horrigan’s vehicle estimated at $9,000, Williams-Larsen’s vehicle $4,500, and Andresen’s $1,000. Mains was cited with failure to yield.
