ADM Tiger Cross Country was able to find some success in the Heartland Classic, as their top runners were able to find success down in Pella.

On the boys side, Nate Mueller ran an outstanding race against some top tier competition, with the senior runner getting a victory on the boys side with a time of 15 minutes and 34 seconds. Mueller took on some of the top runners in 3A and 4A and was able to run his best time of the season.

On the girls side, Geneva Timmerman was able to run her portion of the race in a quick time of 18 minutes and 59 seconds, and was able to get first place in the girls race as the girls team was able to finish 2nd in their heat.

Both teams will be back on the course today, when they host their home meet in Adel. The girls race is expected to start around 5:20 with the boys to follow.
