After what was a busy week, the Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ Cross Country team will be back for another race tonight on their home course hosting the DC-G Invitational.

The DC-G Girls’ spent last week racing three times, finishing 2nd at Huxley, before running again on Thursday at Gilbert, and Saturday with an invitational in Pella at Central College.

Justin Droppert’s club has fared very well against competition through the first month of the season, and his girls are poised to be right where they want to be heading into the final couple weeks of the regular season, with the goal of another State Meet appearance and top-tier finish in Fort Dodge.  Last year, DC-G Girls’ Cross Country finished runner-up in Class 4A.

Tonight’s Dallas Center-Grimes Home Invitational is set to begin at 5:00pm with the Varsity race.
