Jefferson Police

The Jefferson Police Department has requested an arrest warrant for a man that is accused of assaulting two people Sunday evening.

According to police, a warrant has been requested for 32-year-old Nathaniel Clark Aldrich who is charged with a Class C Felony for willful injury, a serious misdemeanor for domestic abuse assault causing serious injury and a simple misdemeanor for domestic abuse assault. The charges were from an incident at a residence in the 300 block of West Washington Street at 6:55pm. 

According to the report, an officer responded to the call of an alleged assault where one of the victims claimed his former roommate Aldrich had come back to pick up his property and an argument began. The victim told authorities Aldrich knocked him down, then straddled him and continued to hit him in the face, causing severe injuries. Aldrich then pushed an elderly woman to the ground before he left the residence. 

Once the arrest warrant is issued and Aldrich has been apprehended, he will be booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
