Interstate 80 on-ramps east of the junction with U.S. 169 will begin nighttime closures starting Monday.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, replacement work on the east and westbound I-80 bridges over Sugar Creek, the South Raccoon River, and the North Raccoon River in Dallas County will close traffic so crews can work overnight. Day time traffic patterns will not be affected. Work is expected to last until November. The DOT wants to remind motorists to obey traffic laws and to follow posted signage.
