The application window for businesses that qualify for COVID-19 disruption relief grants is now open.
On August 27th Governor Kim Reynolds ordered bars and nightclubs in six counties, including Dallas, to close amid a spike in COVID-19 cases among young adults. Eligible businesses can receive a one-time grant of up to $10,000 to make up for lost revenue throughout the public health proclamation, which is set to expire this Sunday. Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio how the restrictions have affected Perry businesses, “We’ve got a lot of businesses that do serve alcohol but they also serve food so they’re not as impacted. There’s not a huge impact here in Perry, but it’s still going to be somewhat of an impact and we’ll see how it progresses. Hopefully, we’ll get through that, but for now, that’s what that restriction means.”
The application period is open until September 24th. You can find a link to apply here.
