Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School is postponing homecoming festivities to spring amid concerns over COVID-19.

ADM announced via Twitter Wednesday afternoon that the student council and administration decided to postpone homecoming based on CDC recommendations and guidance from Dallas County Public Health. Homecoming festivities including a dance were previously scheduled for next week. A new date has not yet been announced. Since the beginning of the school year, seven students and one non-teaching staff member have tested positive for COVID-19, prompting a quarantine of an additional 30 individuals who were in close contact
