Not just one, but two AC/GC runnings backs eclipsed the century mark in Friday’s dominant win.
After a breakout debut, Charlie Crawford went to work again Friday at Central Decatur. The junior rushed for 154 yards on eight carries, scoring once, and averaging nearly 20 yards a carry. Gavin Cornelison found his game acting as the workhorse the Charger’s needed. He rushed the ball 23 times. He powered his way for 137 yards and five touchdowns. The Chargers went on to win 43-7 on the road to improve to 1-1 on the season.
AC/GC will welcome in a 2-0 Woodward-Granger team Friday night for their home opener.
