The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will consider for approval the second reading to amend ordinances to increase water and sewer rates each by three-percent, along with increasing monthly residential and commercial garbage rates by $1 and requiring all commercial properties to pay $4.70 for recycling. Additionally, the Council will consider approving a credit card policy, a change order for a water main project, and a contract revision with People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Greene County. Finally, the Council will discuss the police department.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
