As the State of Iowa surpasses 70,000 positive COVID-19 cases, Dallas County is approaching the 2,500 mark.
According to the state dashboard as of Sunday, Dallas County added 103 new cases since Tuesday, increasing their total to 2,485. They also have 1,883 individuals that have recovered, and 38 deaths. Dallas County is at 8.8% 14-day positive average. Greene County added 13 new cases since Tuesday bringing their total to 67 positive cases, 42 recoveries, and zero deaths. Greene County is at 9.0% 14-day positive average.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Sunday, Guthrie County had 11 new positive cases since Tuesday increasing their total to 173, with 126 recoveries and five deaths. Guthrie County is also reporting a 5.7% 14-day positive average. Adair County had six new positive cases increasing their total to 49, with 21 recoveries, and one death. Adair County is reporting a 3.4% 14-day positive average.
Statewide, there are a total of 70,050 cases, with 49,745 recoveries and 1,166 deaths. Of the 668,555 people that have been tested, 597,006 were negative.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 103 hospitalized patients, with 30 in Intensive Care Units, and six admitted in the last 24 hours.
