A reminder that today is the annual Doggie Paddle event at the Jefferson Municipal Pool. 

It is a fundraiser for the Animal Protection and Education Charity of Paton. Dogs and their owners can swim in the pool from 1-3pm today with a $4 admission charge. APE Owner Linn Price says additional donations will be accepted as her organization offers low-cost spay and neuter services. The event is open to the public. Following the fundraiser, the Jefferson Pool will be closed for the rest of the year.
