Adair County residents should be mindful of some COVID-19 related changes coming from the Adair County Health System.
The Adair County Medical Clinic in Greenfield will be separating well patients from patients with any COVID-19 symptoms inside the clinic. All patients entering any Adair County Health System facility will continue to be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering. Patients with symptoms at the door will be seen through the Urgent Care Clinic, where there is no appointment needed. Family practice providers in the Greenfield Clinic will only see well patients at this time. Those with COVID-19 symptoms that have a scheduled appointment will be moved to the Urgent Care Clinic. The waiting room has also been rearranged for proper social distancing with plexiglass between the chairs.
Adair County has also moved their testing services to the backside Emergency Room parking lot off Jackson Street in Greenfield. Patients will pull their vehicle under the overhang of the outpatient services entrance. This change will allow for testing to be done without being exposed to the outside elements. No walk-ins are allowed at this time, and you can schedule an appointment by calling 641-743-7263.
