Many hands of Dallas County students will be cleaner following a donation from area businesses.
Raccoon Valley Bank donated 500 bottles of hand sanitizer and a $500 check to Adel-De Soto-Minburn, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Perry school districts. Funds come from the company’s Jeans for a Cause promotion where employees are allowed to wear jeans for $5 on Friday. Perry Superintendent Clark Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is just one of many ways local businesses have stepped up to help the school district as other businesses have offered to make masks for students. Wicks has the stated community-wide effort will play a large role in how safe and successful this school year is.
