A controlled burn spread to a structure in Dawson Friday.

Just after 11 a.m., crews from the Perry Fire Department responded to Walnut Avenue between 3rd and 4th streets in Dawson. A controlled burn had spread to a nearby structure and utility pole. Dallas County EMS and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. There were no injures. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
