The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors opened bids for an aluminum box culvert project at their meeting Tuesday.
County Engineer Josh Sebern presented five bids for the project that ranged from around $65,000 to $150,000. Sebern said he will present his recommendation of which bid to award at next week’s meeting. Sebern also gave other Secondary Roads Department updates, mentioning that the box culvert on Coon Road should be open this week, as he said that project went “smooth as silk.” He also discussed preparation for a surfacing project on Sage Trail with a gravel, rock, and clay mix.
