The AC/GC cross country program had a nice outing in their season debut.

On the boys side, Trevin Surh finished second overall in 18:09. Next to finish for the Chargers was Donnie Swanson, who finished in 19:03, which was good enough for eighth. As a team, AC/GC finished second-place overall, three points behind the top-ranked team in Class 1A in Madrid.

The girls also had a strong outing against some quality competition. Jorja Hoover finished first for AC/GC finishing 10th overall. The next Charger finisher was Isabelle Rouse, who finished 11th in 23:46. As a team, the seventh-ranked Chargers finished in third-place overall.
