Over the last week the State has seen a significant spike in COVID-19 cases and the counties within the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area are no different.
According to the state dashboard as of Sunday, Dallas County added 223 new cases since Wednesday, increasing their total to 2,376. They also have 1,782 individuals that have recovered, and two new deaths reported increasing their total to 39. Dallas County is at 9.6% 14-day positive average. Greene County added five new cases since Wednesday bringing their total to 54 positive cases, 38 recoveries, and zero deaths. Greene County is at 5.6% 14-day positive average.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County dashboard as of Sunday, Guthrie County had five new positive cases since Wednesday increasing their total to 162, with 124 recoveries and five deaths. Guthrie County is also reporting a 6.8% 14-day positive average. Adair County had one new positive case increasing their total to 43, with 20 recoveries, and one death. Adair County is reporting a 4.1% 14-day positive average.
Statewide, there are a total of 64,406 cases, with 46,564 recoveries and 1,112 deaths. Of the 654,934 people that have been tested, 630,841 were negative.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 122 hospitalized patients, with 33 in Intensive Care Units, and five admitted in the last 24 hours.
