The term strength in numbers is important in a lot of areas, but for ADM Tiger football, that will be especially important for their football team. In Friday nights loss to Nevada, the Tigers were without seventeen players on their roster, as they were quarantining after a positive case from the ADM school district last week.
There were multiple starters that were unable to play for the Tigers on both the offensive and defensive sides of the football, leaving the Tigers to go deep into their bench and not play with a lot of depth either. The reserves played well considering the circumstances, as there were not a lot of huge mistakes from some young players, many who were getting their first taste of varsity experience. Unfortunately Nevada’s team, led by many good seniors with a lot of varsity experience was a big factor in the game.
ADM settled in more during the game, as they trailed 20-0 at halftime, but settled in during the 3rd quarter to get the game within one possession, but unfortunately Nevada had a couple of scores in the 4th to pull away and get the victory.
ADM will be hoping to have some or all of those players back by Friday, when they have their home opener against Gilbert.
