adm-7

The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers had a tough challenge on Friday night, as they were without seventeen players due to quarantine and unfortunately were unable to overcome that obstacle as they fell by the score of 41-21. The Tigers were without multiple starters during the game, and were working with limited depth against a Nevada team that went 7-2 last year.

The Tigers were slow out of the gate, as they were unable to score during the first half, as Nevada took advantage of great plays by running back Caden Jones was able to find the end zone twice and they also got a huge pass play as well. The Tigers went into the locker room down 20-0.

They tried to come back in the second half, with Senior quarterback Tate Stine-Smith getting a 26 yard rushing touchdown and 5 yard scamper as well, as ADM cut the lead to six. Nevada would score on the next drive then force an ADM turnover, which they would capitalize on and ultimately never look back to get the win.

Jones had a massive night for the Cubs, as he was able to rack up over 100 yards rushing and had five touchdowns in the game as well. Jones was able to take advantage of an ADM team that had limited depth in the game, and was able to produce one of his best performances in his career at the Tigers expense.

The Tigers never led in the game, and despite the second half comeback they never got within more than six points during the game.

ADM Tiger football moves to 0-1 to start the season, but will look to readjust for week number two against Gilbert, and hopes to have some of their roster back for next weeks home opener.
