Wednesday, August 26th

7:18am: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 605 West Monroe Street.

9:01am: Joy Fox reported a Stray Dog in the 400 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer attempted to catch the dog, but it ran from him.

11:58am: Joshua Cade captured a Stray Dog and met an officer at the pound. The officer placed the animal into the Animal Holding Facility.

6:58pm: The Wild Rose Casino reported a female at the facility on the Gaming Floor after signing a Self-Ban Form from gambling in Iowa. The officer escorted the female out of the property and issued a citation for, “Trespassing – Simple” to Mollie Sue Frazier of Boone.

8:20pm: A female brought a checkbook and other personal paperwork to the LEC. She had found the items in the street in the 300 Block of North Olive Street. The officer returned the property to the owner, who advised he had mistakenly left the items on top of his car as he drove down the street.

11:39pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 401 West South Street.
