The City of Perry continues to clean up following the recent derecho storm.

One of the major problems following the storm has been resolved. The City has found a rental replacement truck for residential garbage pickup. Garbage service is back to normal. Residents can still take their garbage to the recycling dumpsters at the McCreary Center, high school football field, and Perry police department through Friday. Starting Saturday those dumpsters will revert back to being recycling only containers. 

Those who need help cleaning up, or anyone who wants to volunteer, can reach out to the Perry Public Library and Library Director Mary Murphy will make arrangements.
