Monday, August 24th

10:45am: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 303 South Maple Street.

11:33am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

11:41am: Amelia Kennedy reported a Stray Dog at 300 East State Street. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

2:34pm: Walton Woods Management reported a male at 1000 West Adams Street who had been previously advised he was no longer welcome on the property. The male had left before the officer arrived.

3:08pm: Brooke Taylor reported being Harassed by a Facebook post. The officer advised her it was not criminal but advised her to contact an attorney as she has a strong Civil Case against the subject.

4:22pm: Chad Sloan reported a Burglary to his tool trailer in the 400 Block of North Cedar Street. Numerous hand tools were removed from the locked trailer after gaining entry. A complete list of stolen items and values will be provided to the officer in a few days. An investigation has started.

11:26pm: A caller advised of a vehicle parked near Cedar and Harrison Streets. A male left the car and was snooping around the Sloan Plumbing building. The officer did not locate the male but did locate the suspicious vehicle parked there. The officer is working to determine if the male is a suspect in the recent Burglaries.
