There’s a new setter for the varsity volleyball team at Greene County High School, but the last name remains the same as the previous three seasons. Aubrey Heupel graduated, but one of her younger twin sisters, Natalie has assumed the position. “Last year, I did do some middle hitting and right side hitting, so I think it’s a big different step.”
Heupel talks about the Rams and their preparation for the 2020 season. “We been getting ready for the numbers we’re doing. All the hitters are getting ready for the right positions, and I’m practicing setting all of them differently, and to their liking.” Natalie’s twin sister, Katrina, is also a member of the team.
Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams start the season in Glidden tomorrow with Collins-Maxwell and Glidden-Ralston.
