The first few days of what’s sure to be the most unique school year in recent memory has gotten off on the right foot for the Perry Community School District.
Superintendent Clark Wicks tells Raccoon Valley Radio he’s thrilled with how the first few days have gone, “They have been going great. I don’t think we could have asked for any better start. The biggest thing is the energy the kids and the staff bring into the building. We’re just really appreciative of what parents have done, what the Board has done, and of course the staff. It’s been a team effort, no question. It’s just great to get started.”
Wicks adds the teachers are getting along nicely with the new COVID-19 conditions. He says there’s still some getting used to in regards to online learning, but he is confident everyone will continue to work together to make this a great school year.
