ADM Tigers football had a scrimmage on Friday night against Oskaloosa, and the Tigers played well on both the offensive and defensive sides of the football. Though there was not score kept during the game, the Tigers were able to reach the end zone three different times during the night, while they kept the Indians completely out of the end zone.

The first touchdown came from junior Matt Dufoe, who was able to score on a six yard quarterback keeper. He also was on the receiving end of a 15 yard pass for a touchdown from senior Tate Stine-Smith. Stine-Smith also scored from 27 yards out on a delayed rush through the left side. The team was explosive all night with great QB play from Stine-Smith, excellent rushes from seniors Justice Paulsen and Jacob Yanacek. They also had big plays from do it all wide receiver Lucus Ray as well. The line did a good job of blocking for rushing and in general gave QBs time to throw.

ADMs defense was really good, as the young front four was able to get four team sacks on the night, including a pair from junior Cody Felt. Senior Jordan Green also had multiple big plays and had a sack as well. The team was also able to create a turnover as they were very good in both their rushing and passing defense. They only gave up a couple plays of 20 plus yards on the night and most importantly didn’t give up any points.

ADM will be hoping that last night’s performance will be a sign of things to come for the 2020 season, but will get a great first test this coming Friday Night when they head up to Nevada for their first game of the season.
